Sopchoppy and Easy Living Go Together
This site is sponsored by the Sopchoppy Preservation and Improvement Association, a grassroots group of local business people and other interested persons. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and if you have any questions or suggestions, please contact us.
Sopchoppy is located approximately 45 miles south of Tallahassee and is surrounded by the Apalachicola National Forest and the St. Marks Wildlife Refuge. We are a convenient stop over on your way to the beautiful NW FL beaches. Our town has several historical sites, archeological sites, a beautiful river, great birding areas, fishing, hunting and very personalized businesses. Our picturesque city park is located along the banks of the Sopchoppy River and has campsites available to the public. Slow down the pace of your travels and visit those of us who enjoy "easy living."
